The wide sterling bangle is one example of English creativity coming to us from the late 19th century. Examples of this style have survived very well. We are pleased to offer this example with several more to follow. It is an authentic and decorative of jewelry from the era.
Although this bangle has an indistinct mark, it has been tested and is guaranteed to be sterling silver. Here we have a beautivly engraved silver bangle that is decorated with small sections of gold overlay creating a stunning effect. There is a geometric effect as well. It would be an interesting compliment if worn in addition to a silver chain and locket.
A bit of silver polish and a bit of effort could make all the difference in the shine. The bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches around and is 1 inch in width. It weighs 37.5 grams. The hinge is nice and tight and it opens and shuts neatly. A safety chain is added. It is in very good and original condition.
My apologies for not polishing the silver--allergies to the polish!!
