This delicate turquoise cluster ring was frequently referred to as a "forget-me-not" design. However it may be named, its charm is never in doubt. Although it has no marks visible it is of English origin and tests 15 K gold.
The mounting has finely detailed shoulders and is centered by a tiny rose cut diamond surrounded by 6 matching cabochon turquoise stones. The underside of the ring features a glass covered secret compartment fitted with a lock of dark hair. It appears to be completely original. So many of these locket compartments are empty of missing their glass covers.
The ring fits a size 7 finger but is easily re-sized. The top measures 3/5 inch in diameter. The weight is 2.6 grams. It is in excellent antique condition.
