This delightful pair of earrings is a first to us--irresistible--charming--wearable-- and surely will attract attention. The hand design was popular in the Victorian era and copied time and time again in the early 20th century.
The hands have been created from a coral substitute that has been tested but not clearly identified. The "diamonds' are paste and the "gold" is gilded metal. It would be easy to replace the screw backs with posts or wires by a competent jeweler.
The earrings are 1 3/5 inches in length and weigh 3.8 grams and are in lovely condition
