This is a magnificent creation utilizing an array of stones that compliment each other. We have never seen another like it and believe it was designed for someone special and holds a particular meaning. The heart itself is an agate. We do not know where the stone was found or carved. it is pierced by an arrow of 18K gold with a genuine ruby tip and tiny diamonds in the feather end.
The heart is surmounted by a splendid crown made up of 30 rose cut diamonds, 3 square cut emeralds and 3 cabochon colorful opals. All are set in 18K gold which as been acid tested and guaranteed. All the stones are genuine. The crown is fitted with its original "T" pin and "C" clasp. We see a tiny smudge of solder on the bracket fitting of the pin which was used at one time as a method of re-enforcement. It has no effect on the piece. There is a mark of sorts on the pin bracket itself which we cannot see well enough to read with a 10 power lens.
Overall, the piece measures 2 inches top to bottom and is 1 and 1/4 inch in width. It could easily be fitted with a gold chain and worn as a pendant. A competent jeweler could do this for a minimal cost. We feel that this piece is a "one-of-a-kind" and would strike the fancy of its wearer.
