We have a special attachment to this style of Victorian ring so typical many created in England. It is among several of the pieces we purchased on one of our earliest buying trips to London some thirty years ago. The time has come to offer them for sale.
This lovely ring was made in Chester, England and the date mark is 1899. The hallmark tells that the gold is “625” – 15K. It measures to be size 5 ½. The top is ¼ inch and tapers to 1/8th inch on the bottom.
The six pearls and tiny sapphire are original. One of the pearls looks to have lost some of its sheen. It could be changed if one wishes. Otherwise the ring is in fine condition.
