This is a 1905 match safe with a bold image of a golden retriever dog on one side, the reverse has an edge design and large cartouche area engraved "3/2 1905." The bezel is marked "sterling" and the maker's mark for F. S. Gilbert, North Attleboro, MA. Its 2 5/8 x 1 5/8 inches with a strong lid spring. The match safe is in excellent condition with a strong lid spring.
