This is a c. 1910 trick opening match safe. The top features a rebus image with "How the "image of a devil" do you open it?" One edge is marked "Pat24-846/10" referring to patent number 24846 issued on Oct 26, 1910. The match safe is 1 1/2 x 2 inches with a striker to one edge and is in excellent condition. Centrifugal force releases 4 pins that allows the top to be removed. In order to open the match safe, place it on a hard, flat surface and give it a quick spin.
