This is a c. 1900 match safe with an image of Diana the Huntress on one side, the reverse has an edge design with a monogrammed center cartouche. The bezel is marked "Sterling." Based on design characteristics, this match safe was probably made by the Bristol Mfg. Co., Attleboro, MA. The interior is gold gilted. Its approximately 2 5/8 x 1 3/4 inches with a striker to the bottom. Excellent condition with a strong lid spring, has a small edge dent.
