This is a 1926 slide type match safe featuring THE TIMES Newspaper's famous logo on one side, the reverse is plain. The inside is marked with complete London 1926 sterling hallmarks plus Goldsmiths maker's mark and Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co., Ltd., name and address. There are secondary hallmarks on the front. Its approximately 1 3/4 x 1 3/8 inches with a striker to one end. Excellent condition.
