This beautiful divided tray was made in Czechoslovakia and then crafted in the USA by Pickard Studios. The daisy and rose pattern, D747, was created by Pickard Studios and was one of their top selling patterns and now more difficult to find as it is discontinued. The pattern is decorated with 24K gold for which Pickard is so well known. The divided dish is a beautiful elegant shape with flowing curved edges. The daisy and rose pattern using the AOG (All Over Gold) technique creates a beautiful luster.
The tray measures 6 5/8" in diameter with a 2 inch handle. The handle itself has a wonderful shape.
Along with the Pickard mark there is also the Royal EPIAG Made in Czechoslovakia stamp. "EPIAG" is not a manufacturer, but the name of an association of various Bohemian porcelain companies. The 2 marks date it to the 1930s.
Both of these marks ensure the high quality of this piece.
Any collector knows how valued this piece is, but it is also just lovely and elegant.
The dish is in absolutely perfect condition.
