An instant collection of 3 French Foie Gras pots. They have real presence and look great displayed together. They are solid and heavy, you can read a little below of their history and condition.

The large pot was made by SARREGUEMINES U&C, it is antique and the mark on the back dates it to before 1895, it was a mark developed for items for the kitchen. The handles are of a gargoyle, the green man, bearded laughing man a typical design for this style of pot. Traces of wear and patina a little chip on the side below the rim.

The middle pot is a great contrast in this collection. I am unable to date it from the mark but it looks to be antique. The mark on the back gives details of the producer and the telephone number is 4 digits. This pot is from a producer in Strasbourg, the coat of arms is on 2 sides of the pot and the details of the producer marked on the bottom. The handles are the bearded man. This pot has a chip on the inside rim, covered by the lid. The lid has 2 chips, one on the outside and one on the underside.

The small pot was made by SARREGUEMINES U&C, it is antique and the mark on the back dates it to before 1895, it was a mark developed for items for the kitchen. The handles are of a bearded laughing man a typical design for this style of pot. Traces of wear and patina a little chip on the inside below the rim. The inside is stained and discolored. A little opening in the glaze on one of the handles
