Lovely allegorical figurine from the Vienna Secessionist Movement modeled by Johanna Meier-Michel for the Austrian Wiener Werkstatte Factory (WKKW) and emblematic of "Winter" from the seasons. She wears a dark blue ermine-trimmed coat and muff holding a wrapped present and festive foliage. Signed at the base "MEIER" and numbered inside: 1146 (or 1140) 222-7 and "JB". (Ref. Book: Sampling Brohan II, Berlin, 1976, page 422, figure #581. Measures 31.5 cm (12-3/8") high by 16.5 cm (6-1/2") across at the base. Excellent condition with no damage as shown.
