We respond to all orders as quickly as possible, usually within a day. Please let us know if you have an urgent shipping time requirement. We will make every effort to ship your item to arrive in the time you specify. If we are not able to do so, we will notify you within 24 hours of receipt of the purchase order.

The cost of Shipping plus Insurance will be added to your purchase total. Insurance is mandatory and items will not be shipped without it. There is never a Handling Charge. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our items.

We prefer to use USPS Priority Mail whenever possible as it usually is the quickest, and require all packages to be insured. Many of our items are glass; hence, insurance is important. If you prefer another method of shipment (e.g. UPS), please let us know. We charge only the actual expense of shipment and insurance. We do not charge a handling fee unless we have to make a custom box. On international shipments, we require insurance as protection for both of us.

We take great care to securely package your purchase. When shipping glass, we prefer not to combine items into one box. For non-glass items, we will combine orders to reduce shipping costs. Again, we prefer to use Priority U.S. Mail within the U.S. and Canada. We have shipped many items to international customers as well, and will determine with you the best shipping method based on your international location. We will ship internationally only to Western Europe, England, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. If you are located in another country, please inquire first.

We use PayPal as our primary payment processor. Your purchase will be mailed within a few days following receipt of funds in our PayPal account to verified/confirmed credit card billing addresses ONLY; please ensure that you give the correct shipping address on your Ruby Lane purchase order.

Should an item arrive damaged, in spite of our careful packaging, this must be handled directly through the carrier or USPS with an insurance claim. I will be happy to assist in this. Always be sure to retain all original packaging if a claim is to be made as the shipping agent will request to examine it.

New York sales are charged NYS sales tax @8.375%, unless you supply us with a valid exemption certificate.
