A fabulous very early Farnell teddy with champagne white mohair and boot button eyes. He has a black stitched nose and 4 claws on each paw. The mohair retention is excellent, and the fur is very lustrous and soft. Dating back to 1909 or earlier, this wonderful bear has a hump back and great early form. He is about 12" tall. The felt foot pads are original and in excellent condition. The felt paw pads are also original; there is a repair to the left one, and the right one has some small nibbles, too small to patch. (see photos).
All in all, this early Farnell is in wonderful condition.
