This super necklace is marked Jay Flex Sterling. Jay Flex Jewelry Company began in Montreal, Canada in the early 1930’s up to the mid 1960’s. They were renowned for their quality of designs and workmanship in fashion jewelry of their time. Many of their pieces that they made contained rhinestones and were usually executed on sterling as a base metal, whereas many other designers were using brass, chrome and other pot metals as a base metal for their designs. Most Jay Flex pieces were manufactured on sterling. This necklace is 16" in length and drops 1" at center front. The rhinestones are pink and purple. A beautiful necklace in great condition.
