This fabulous vintage set is signed Metales (Metal in Spanish) TM-115 Mexico GM 950 (.950 percent Silver). This wonderful set was made after 1979 as the Eagle mark was put to rest and the Alpha/Numeric system started being used. The T means it was made in Taxco, and the M means it was an artisan who's last name began with "M". The 115 was the 115th person who was granted the "M". The 950 means the silver metal is .950 percent Silver - this is a larger percent silver than the normal .925. There are Aztec faces made out of amethyst and copper and brass embellishments too. The necklace measures 19" in length and is 2-1/4" at center front. The cuff style bracelet is 2-1/2" at the opening and is 1" wide. From my personal collection - this one is gorgeous!
A Customer thought it may be Los Castillo, but the TM number does fit. Anyone else want to venture a guess so to the maker?
