This great pair of vintage bottles are signed Japan on the bottom. Each is a vaseline glass that fluoresce in UV light. I have tried to research this set and what I found is that they were made in 1935, have a quilted texture and are flat on one side so that they can stand next to each other. In the information I found on line it seems there was a matching glass slipper too which is not with this set. Both bottles have the glass dauber and both are chipped on the pointed end. One of the bottles has a chip in the top and is cracked, but the other bottle looks like it is in good condition. Each measures 3/8" x 3/4" and stands 1-1/2" tall not including the dauber. The daubers are each 1-1/4" long.
