This is a different Mexican sterling bracelet. It is full of important national symbolism. Two of the panels portray the Mayan Calendar, Another panel shows the Mexican coat of arms Which features a golden eagle eating a snake on top of a cactus. Finally there is a panel showing the
Kukulkan Pyramid also known as El Castillo, which is found at Chichen Itza in the Yucatan. This Mayan temple is in harmony with the Mayan Solar Calendar in its numeric set of steps, platforms, and geometric design. The bracelet measures 6-1/2" but is curved, so it fits easily and well on the wrist. Each panel is 1-1/2" long by 1" high. There is a slide in clasp on which is marked: Mexico 925 and a 50 inside an eagle. This style eagle indicates the bracelet was made in the 1960's or early 1970's. The bracelet is in excellent condition and weighs 41 grams.
Gender: Female, Age Group: Adult, Color: Silver, Size: 6-1/2"
