Beautiful orange and white art glass teardrops are the focal point of this Florenza necklace. The pendant features long, smooth teardrop orange/white glass cabochon stones accented by aurora borealis rhinestones and opaline orange cabochons on a rich antiqued brassy gold tone setting. The pendant measures 2-7/8 inches diameter and is signed on the back. It comes with the original 24 inch chain. All stones are present, plating is in excellent condition; this is just an absolutely gorgeous necklace! Dan Kasoff started producing jewelry in the early 1930's. The Florenza name was first used in the late 1940's and the company ceased operation in 1981. Based in New York City, their designs resemble old Victorian and Renaissance Revival jewelry and always exhibited quality workmanship and materials. Not all Florenza jewelry was marked and the designs varied. They made jewelry for companies including Weiss, Kramer, Coro, Capri, Carnegie, Max Factor, House of Benedict, Estee Lauder and others
