Offering an early 19th century oval pantry box in wonderful original surface. This fine box has been constructed with square wooden pegs and early iron square nails, and lap finger joints. The pantry box retains a gently aged untouched surface in beautiful nut color. It is rare to see such an early box as this one is , in such a superlative state of original condition suggesting light use. The interior is very clean with no evidence of food stuff. The box measures 11 1/2” long, 8 3/4” wide, 4 1/4” high.
