Underplate measures approx. 6 1/2 inches in diameter. Double handle container with handled lid and underplate; hand painted grapevine design with gold gilt highlights. Marked on base of container and underplate with "AK" "D" "FRANCE" mark; representing the French porcelain maker A. Klingenberg. Artist's initialed signature on base of each as well. Excellent condition; near Mint. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Small flake to inside rim of lid. Not visible when lid is on. Small paint blotch on underplate. See photos.
