Original Old Sleepy Eye Western Stoneware Company Mug for your consideration. The mug measures approx. 5 1/2 inches tall and approx. 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Brown glazed mug with raised Native American imagery. Handle is molded with Mohawk Indian face. One side of mug depicts Indian Chief portrait wearing feathered headdress. Tree on one side and teepee on the other. The other side of the mug depicts an Indian making a fire next to a tree with three teepees behind him. Base is marked with embossed maple leaf and "W" in center. This makers mark represents the Western Stoneware Company. Excellent condition. No chips or cracks. See photos. Displays splendid. Scarce!
