Art Deco German Wood Mantle Clock for your consideration. The clock measures approx. 9 inches tall, 12 1/2 inches wide and 6 inches deep. Beautiful wood veneered face with chrome finish numbers and hands. Likely made by the German clock manufacturer Junghans. Marked "J" on the inside of clock workings. The clock does work, chimes and keeps good time. This clock has not been inspected by a professional clocksmith and is being sold "AS IS". There are no obvious issues with the workings of the clock and appear to be in functional condition. The clock is an 8 day mechanical with chime on half hour and full number of chimes on the hour represented. Includes pendulum and key. The key possibly is not original as it is marked "England" and the origin of the clock is likely German. The other reason the key might not be original is that it doesn't fit the chime winding side very well. Even yet, the key is functional and works for winding both the chime and clock works. The clock shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. The minute hand has lost the majority of the chrome finish. A few minor restorations to the wood, including; a line to the veneer face and a small scratched area to the top. These condition issues are not noticeable except under close examination. See photos. Displays and functions handsomely!
