Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Pencil Holder with Transgression / Iniquity Themed Design for your consideration. The pencil holder measures approx. 3 1/8 inches long, 3/8 of an inch wide and 1/8 of an inch thick. Unusual, embossed sinful decoration of playing cards, horseshoe, prostitute, serpent, bottle of booze and dice. Marked, "STERLING" along the snake. Excellent antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. A bit tarnished. No longer has pencil. See photos. Displays interesting!
