This sewing needle book is a souvenir from the Chicago World's Fair circa 1933 -1934. A Century of Progress International Exposition was held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Chicago. While the colors of this needle book are still pretty bold, it is in fair condition due to creasing and tearing as you can see in the pictures. The dimensions of the needle book are 6.37 x 4.50 inches when closed, and 6.37 x 9.00 when open, and is missing some of the needles and the needle threader. This is a great starter piece for a World's Fair or Sewing Collection. The buildings on this needle book is the Entrance to Field Musenin, Carillon Tower Hall of Science, Adler Planetarium "Theatre of the Heavens" and Shedd Aquarium.
