Beautiful piece of EAPG that was produced for Schrafft's Chocolates that was located in Boston Massachusetts circa early 1900's. While there is no hard attribution to the maker of this wonderful piece it is very similar to the Candy Dish made by US Glass in the pattern called Massachusetts circa 1898. The only difference between the two are the corners, Schrafft's candy dish has hobstars while US Glass's Candy dish has stars. This piece is approximately 6 inches square and 1 1/4 inches at the tallest point. On one of the raised handles where it says Schrafft's there are some chips as shown in the pictures, and on the same side a few of the teeth are nicked. Other then Mention the glass has no other defects, its crisp and clean with no sickness and shows no wear. The light dances off the plate brilliantly and it looks like this piece was just delivered to the Schrafft's showroom to display the latest chocolates.
