Westmoreland glass produced this ruby stained sweet meat in the pattern known as Wakefield and early on Waterford. It is approximately 4.50 inches tall and the crimped top is approximately 5.75 inches in diameter. This piece is in good condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. There are a few small spots where the ruby stain is missing which are mainly on the mold lines. Most the white or yellow spots are reflections. This piece does have a signature on the bottom hidden inside a ridge line that we can only make out K. Pat and the 1978 on the next ridge line. We do not know whose signature it is, could have been the previous owners or maybe someone at the factory.
