Heisey produced this wonderful two handled Sugar known as # 473 Narrow Flute with Rim circa 1915 – 1933. This piece was decorated by Wheeling Decorating Company in a gold gilt pattern known as D-2a or Fingered Swirls, Arrows and Flowers. Wheeling decorating company used this pattern that was fashioned after an old Minton decorating pattern. Please take note we try to describe every little flaw so sometimes things seem worse then they are. This piece is approximately 3 3/8 inches tall, 2 3/4 inches in diameter and is in fair condition due to the fact that approximately 40% of the original decorating is missing or worn, and there is scratching on the inside at the bottom of the rim and top of the flute. There is a straw mark on the handle, on the rim there is scratching and a mark that is filled in with gold from the manufacturer. The bottom inside does have the Heisey Mark of an H inside a diamond and there is light scratching where the table meets the bottom of the sugar.
