This wonderful piece came from a living estate. Both; husband and wife, would go out west to travel to site see and purchase wonderful authentic Native American pieces! The couple would purchase large, substantial and QUALITY made pieces! The collection that they had only consisted of quality made Navajo pieces. Many of their pieces were purchased directly from the artist. Unfortunately, they could not remember who made this piece and the bolo is not signed by the artist, but they did remember what they paid for their items. Let's just say that they paid much much more than the listed price. The bolo slide measures approximately 2 7/16" long x 1 15/16" wide at the widest spot (top). The bolo tie tips measures approximately 2 1/8" long and the diameter of the Navajo pearls that are attached to the tips measures approximately 5/16". The cord is in good condition with normal wear due to previous use. The bolo and tips are unmarked, but both tested as solid sterling silver. The only part is not sterling silver is the bannett clasp. The bennett clasp is always silver-tone. The bolo slide and tips are in very good pre-owned condition! This piece is substantial!
