This wonderful Native American piece features a very nice bloodstone cabochon! Never had I ever seen a Native American piece that had or used bloodstone until this piece! One can see the "blood" droplets or specks in the stone along with the larger areas of "blood". The bolo slide is in very good/excellent condition. This piece came from a wealthy estate located out of Columbus, OH where individual only collected unique items! It is signed by the maker and it is marked "H.T. NEZ NAVAJO". The name of the maker is Herman T Nez. In addition, it is marked for the silver content; sterling. It has been tested and verified as sterling silver except for the bannett clasp. The bannett clasp is silver tone; as usual. The tips are unmarked, but has been tested as sterling silver, too! The bolo slide and tips are in very good pre-owned condition with normal/little wear due to age and use with tarnish/patina. The tips do have a darker patina than the bolo slide. I do not polish Native American pieces. I leave all polishing up to the buyer. If one is looking for a one-of-a-kind bolo tie, then this is the piece! Please see below for measurements.
