Meaning: the patterns on this set of teacup are extremely pretty. Traditional Chinese style cranes are artfully drawn by the artist on both the cup and the saucer, as if the saucer is a reflection of patterns on the cup (with each crane taking on a different posture). The crane is one of the mystical or holy creatures and symbolizes good fortune and longevity because of its fabled life span of a thousand years. Cranes are also frequently seen on official attires in the royal court as well as high-class goods in ancient China.
Workmanship: incredible sense of beauty.
Condition: preserved through 300 to 400 years of history, condition is reflected on the photos. Unique - only one such set in the world!
