This is a huge antique porcelain bowl preserved in excellent condition with no damage or repair. From Qing Dynasty, China.
The style is unusual, indicating that it may be made in a Fujian Province kiln. Condition of the glaze and workmanship at the bottom indicate that it is definitely an antique item with at least 150 years of history. Crack patterns of the glaze are natural and aesthetically beautiful. Remarkable for an item of such size to have been preserved so well.
The bowl was possibly used as a small basin for hand-washing on a dinner table, or as a container for food.
Diameter is 22.8 cm; Height is 9.5 cm.
