An elegantly-shaped three-legged porcelain incense burner with more than 100 years of history, i.e. late Qing Dynasty of ancient China.
Incense burners were common items in ancient China, mostly used in family altars or temples. Most incense burners were made of bronze and a minority were made of porcelain. This particular incense burner shares the characteristics and style of bronze incense burners, deliberately made in a simplistic style (in line with the owner's faith which is supposed to be unadulterated and pure). For the same reason, color of the glaze is also simple - a reflection of unique East Asian philosophy of simplicity / purity.
