A lovely 19th-Century French white glazed confit pot or jar. This pot is full of character, hand thrown and glazed with two charming handles, known as 'ears.' It is a creamy white with pink undertones and subtle variations. These jars were used for storing and preserving cooked meat. It would be beautiful with a bouquet of flowers or used in the kitchen to hold utensils. The diameter of the opening is 5.25", the width between the handles is 8", and height is 8".
