A superb 19th century French confit pot with a lovely yellow glaze. This pot or planter is hand thrown with charming handles known as 'ears'. These jars were used for storing and preserving cooked meat. It would be beautiful with a bouquet of flowers or used in the kitchen to hold utensils.
