LAYAWAY TERMS:

*All layaway proposal plans sent from a Buyer are at the sole discretion of the Seller to approve or decline the proposal. Buyers must submit their layaway proposal plan by clicking on the "Layaway Policy" option, under the photo. of the item you are interested in buying using a layaway program. Please do not create a purchase order first and then ask to place the item in layaway as Ruby Lane made revisions to the requirements of a layaway plan in spring of 2024. **In my shop, layaway is available on any item over $200.00, and sale prices are not negotiable on layaway purchases. If your initial payment is going to be made via electronic fund transfer (such as utilizing PayPal) it is required by Ruby Lane that your payment be received within 24 hours of an approval of a layaway. If you are paying your layaway program by way of a check payment, or postal money order, the payment must be received within eight (8) days of the initiation of and the approval of your layaway. Following your initial payment, all recurring check or money order payments you mail MUST be received by the DATE DUE noted in your layaway program. If a payment is past due your layaway program may be subject to cancellation. If you have an issue concerning your layaway payment not being timely, please reach out to me via Ruby Lane email. Correspondence between the seller and buyer are crucial.

***Layaways are not transferable from one item to another.

PLEASE NOTE* If a buyer defaults on the Terms and Conditions of the Layaway Agreement, a 20% cancellation fee applies.

Payments that are more than 30 days past due will automatically be considered in default of the Layaway Agreement. All Layaway "Terms and Conditions" will continue the entire duration of any Layaway Agreement.

All buyers are responsible for any shipping and insurance costs unless noted otherwise in my description. Reaonable shipping is one of my priorities. I try hard to keep your shipping costs reasonable, with the safety and security of your items delivery in mind. The only method available to me for shipping is by way of USPS services. This is notated in my listing descriptions. Thank you!
