Portrait of an elegant young woman in a rose-coloured silk dress.
Georges Roussin, French painter, was born November 19, 1854 in Saint-Denis (Reunion Island) and died in 1941. He was a student of Cabanel, Jules Lefebvre and Millet. He began exhibiting at the Salon in Paris in 1878 and regularly exhibited large historical paintings, portraits and pleasant genre paintings carefully crafted, oil or pastel. He received a silver medal in 1920.
