Here's a lovely doll from the 1950s made of a material that feels like tortulon, an early plastic used in place of celluloid in the making of some German dolls. Her hang tag says Wernicke (the maker) and Nicaput (which I found meant unbreakable). She has lovely lashed blue eyes that move from side to side, a stylish blonde human hair wig and is dressed in her complete original crisp and clean outfit. Shes jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips.
Her wig is her crowning glory, slightly curly with a sweet top knot. She has a tiny pinpoint rub on her left check, hardly noticable and a line on her neck from contact with the neck socket. Other than that she looks brand new.
