This is a late 19th century bangle with an enamel depiction of Venus with two cupids at the altar of love. They are surrounded by clouds, and you can see Venus' doves flying in the sky above them. Venus is shown placing a wreath of flowers over a flaming heart, while the cherubs are wrapping the altar in floral garland. The scene is bordered by well-matched seed pearls. It is on an 18k bangle. This item was most likely converted, but done so in a suitable fashion. There is a safety chain on the bangle. In very good antique condition. The miniature is flawless, and someone took much time to create this masterpiece. Fits a medium sized wrist, 5.9 cms across the inside of the bangle.
