There is a transferware scene of “York Minster From South East” on the side of this lovely little cylindrical needle case. Measurements are approximately 3 ¼” tall and just under 1 ¼” across. The transfer and container are in very nice used condition. These wonderful souvenir pieces were highly prized by tourists in the Victorian Era. They were made of sycamore wood in and around the town of Mauchline in Scotland.
