This embossed clear glass bottle is marked Old Quaker in script and has an image of a Quaker with the traditional hat. Across the shoulder of the bottle it reads “FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE.” This was required to be on every liquor bottle after the repeal of Prohibition until 1964. Measurements are approximately 6 ¼” high, 3 ¼” wide and 1 ½” in depth. The bottom is marked D 9, then 56, a trademark, an 8, then M 87-1 A. There are no chips or cracks and the bottle even has its original lid.
