There are 16 lead soldiers with this vintage 3 piece game set which has both cribbage and dominoes. There is a typed piece of paper that came with it that identifies the 5 different Guard uniforms. At the top it reads YOUR GUARDS CRIB BOARD AND CARD DIAS. Below this is the description of how to identify the uniforms of the Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards. Then it reads QUINQUE JUNCTA IN UNO (FIVE JOINED AS ONE). There is also a small piece of paper with the directions for double six dominoes for 2 to 4 players. This paper is frayed on one edge. The set is made of wood and all three have brass colored metal trim and the cribbage board has a brass playing surface. The piece with the cribbage board measures approximately 12 ½" long, 3 ½" wide and just under 3" tall. There are 4 Guards used for pegs, and one more standing on the base of each corner. The ones used for scoring are made from the waist up and mounted on long metal pegs. The section holding the dominoes is also approximately 12 ½" long, 3 ½" wide and 1 1/3" to the base and 5 ½" to the top of the section holding the dominoes. The dominoes have never been used and are in their original packing material. The Card Dias is approximately 7" long 3 ½" wide and 4 ½" tall to the peaks. The game did not come to me with any cards but I will supply some if desired. The two front Guards are made with the long metal pegs for scoring. All pieces have green felt on the bottoms. I can not find any indication of the maker of this fascinating board game. It is in excellent condition with no damage. The entire set weighs 6 lbs. 4 oz.
