This hand carved cribbage board represents an interesting piece of history. Ceylon became modern day Sri Lanka in 1948. Measurements at the base are approximately 9 ¾” by 3 ¼” by ¾” thick. The 4 original feet are missing. The sides are carved. CEYLON is spelled out on the top with mother of pearl dots. A thin white border going around the top is worn. Being hand carved this board is not perfect, but is in good usable condition and displays beautifully. There are no pegs but I can supply 4 metal ones that fit perfectly.
