The title of the 1917 Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate is “The Church of Our Savior in Copenhagen.” It was designed by Oluf Jensen. It measures the standard 7” across and is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. According to the book “Christmas Plates” by Lars Christoffersen, small quantities of the Christmas plates were inscribed with a variety of languages for the word for Christmas. Plates with “Weihnachten” were produced from 1908 to 1944. Please see my other listing for a 1915 Weihnachten Royal Copenhagen Plate.
