The title of the 1915 Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate is “Snow-covered Landscape with Spruce, Sledge and Church.” It was designed by Arnold Krog. It measures the standard 7” across and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are 2 tiny pinpoint places on the front missing glaze. This is from the manufacturing process. According to the book “Christmas Plates” by Lars Christoffersen, small quantities of the Christmas plates were inscribed with a variety of languages for the word for Christmas. Plates with “Weihnachten” were produced from 1908 to 1944. Please see my other listing for a 1917 Weihnachten Royal Copenhagen Plate.
