This cribbage board displays very nicely, with two pieces of silver metal that polish nicely, a carved black whale in the center, and two cream colored circular discs all mounted on the top of the board. The disks are made of a molded composition material. One disk has "Brig Circe" in script and the other reads "Boston 1880". With all these interesting decorations, the board is not playable because quite a few peg holes are covered up. The board itself is in good shape but the peg cover is missing from the bottom, and it looks like there were 2 bars of wood attached to the bottom for legs. The board stands perfectly level on its long side and would look great in a collection.
