Cute small size so called Pampkin type papier mache wax over doll with Alice black band hairdo, late 19th century.
Size: 10" (26 cm).
Original cloth body with a working crier in the belly, papier mache shoulder head, wooden lower arms and lower legs. All original paint and doll finish, small wood chip to left hand, restoration stitching to the legs. Painted boots, inset glass eyes. Age wear to head wax cover.
She is wearing lovely set of antique and probably original clothes, including undergarments - panties, chemise, petticoat, small flowers cotton dress and apron.
