A sterling silver stegosaurus trinket box that is truly unique. Each piece was caste separately by hand. It is a charming little cache that has a lip on the inside of the lid that holds it in place nicely. Note the detail on the dorsal scales, toes and the tail which curves off to one side to better display the scales.

It measures 3" and weighs 87 grams which is substantial for a box this size. There is no visible hallmark and it was carefully tested with jeweler's acid to a confirm a silver purity of sterling or higher.

It is such a unique piece. The two types of stone pieces underneath are not included but either can be purchased separately. They are just to show how this very original box might be displayed. The green malachite piece and other base work well with the Jurassic theme and are an appealing choice. This dinosaur would be exceptional gift or addition to any collection.
