Lovely, red and gold footed demi-tasse cup and saucer. The background of the cup and saucer is red and the background is decorated with leaves and fronds and circles in gold. The cup 's lip is edged in gold with a similar gold ring around the foot of the cup. The outside of the handle is heavily gilded. The inside of the cup is white with hand painted flowers in pink, lavender, yellow and blue with green leaves decorating one side of the cup Similar flowers decorate the seat of the saucer. Saucer is decorated exactly like the cup.

The makers mark is gold with the words Mintons, Est 1793, England with a crown and a globe. This mark was used from 1912 - 1950.
