Beautiful Taxco sterling silver enameled butterfly brooch, signed M. Arias, Miguel Arias was a master silversmith who worked at Margot De Taxco for Margot van Voohries Carr in Mexico...this butterfly pin has a wonderful blue translucent enamel, almost like guilloche style, on the wing, with confetti colored enamel inlay and red enamel dots...it is in great condition, a little patina, that should polish off with a cloth...it is fully hallmarked on back side with artist name, Taxco, 925, CHO and the eagle 3 stamp.....measures approx. 1 5/8" x 1 3/8". Great collector piece.
